Hi all, I am in need of some pictures of the stern area of a 1959 Thompson Bros. 17 ft. Sea Lancer (made at Peshtigo). I am restoring one at the present time and the previous owner made numerous alterations to the transom, motor/splash well, and rear seat.
I also had at one time another '59 Sea Lancer but this one had the transom chopped off and also modifications. When this particular boat was scrapped I did save most of the components, so I do have some patterns.
Does the '59 Lancer have the metal braces that go from the transom down to the floor stringers??? (like on the '57 and '58 Lancer models)?
Pictures of the motor/splash well and details of how she's connection to the gunwales or hullsides will be helpful. Also pics of the rear seat and her connection to the hullsides.
Anything will help.
Cheers and thanks in advance!
