here in the mid-Atlantic our season is a tad longer. Had the boat out today on a perfect early fall day. Given it was Monday and the off-season at times I was literally the only boat on the river.

Some of the best boating days I have had were in the fall.
No one on the lake but me and lots of color.
My wife's boat is still in the water and we will be using it utill the weather really changes.

I agree wholeheartedly. Everything smells better in the fall, and especially on a weekday when you have the water to yourself. Looks like it was perfect boating weather.
