I have finned fiberglass!

I found a boat that just needed a good home. 1960 AlumaCraft 16 ft. Tangier. She is fiberglass and she has fins. Kinda cool looking. She has all her original stuff such as seats and windshield and splash well cover. She needs a complete and major restoration. Transom wood needs replacement and I bet the foam under the floor is saturated with water.
I contacted Alumacraft Boat Co. and they tell me they built 448 of these between 1959 and 1961. I know of four others out there in the world today.
This girl will be tucked away in the boathouse for another day.
And by the way, she was free! Watch craigslist.com in your area for free junk and you may score something worthwhile!
