Any guess about this Canoe

This canoe is up for auction tomorrow at the local auction house I attend regularly - You'll need to go to this link to see it (I cant download a usefull picture from their site)

It is not a Thompson Hiawatha model (it has half ribs on the floor). It certainly could be another Thompson model.

It could be any one of the other canoe makers. www.wcha.org may be a good place to post your inquiry.

Looks like an Old Town to me. The style of the cane seats looks very familiar. We've had one in the family for 70 years. If it is, it will have a serial # burned into the bow. Old Town keeps meticulous records and is very good about responding to inquires on their antique canoes.
