Cleaning Out the Hull Before Winter Storage

Does anyone go to the trouble of pulling up the floorboards and cleaning out the hull before winter storage, paying special attention to the gap between the ribs and the lapstrakes?

If you're really intent on cleaning up those gaps, would you use A) garden hose B) pressure washer C) shop air + shop vacuum?

I pull floor boards each Autumn prior to winter storage.

I clean and check for any problems. I repair or replace any bad wood, etc... I vacuum, use a little bent piece of wire (coat hanger) to clean the gunk out from under the ribs and wash the interior, let it dry completely and then reinstall floor boards. I don't pressure wash - just use hose and soapy water.

I remove ALL stuff from the boat and put moth balls and dryer sheets in various places to discourage varmits. I have never had varmit problems in my boats, even if stored at an active farm in an open sided shed.

Of course, the motor or motors are winterized too.
