Just a head's up, A free 16' Thompson and Merc outboard on craig's list... Detroit area. I have no interist in another project. Don't know if it's even still available.

Thanks for the head's up. I hope someone grabs her and gets her restored. She looks very restorable.
I do NOT think she is a Thompson of Peshtigo, She may be a Cruisers, Inc. or a T & T Boats, Inc. boat. She's definately not a 1950 model year boat.

That merc looks to be a short shaft on a transom that needs a long shaft.
