my "new" Chris-Craft glassic
I obtained my second classic fiberglass boat yesterday. She''s a 1966 Chris-Craft Corsair 17'-6" Sport V outboard runabout. She'll join my fleet which includes a 1965 Thompson 15' G1500 fiberglass outboard.
You can see details about this model on page 639 of Jerry Conrad's book "Chris-Craft: The Essential Guide."
This Corsair boat was made by Thompson Boat Company of New York, Inc. at Cortland, NY - a wholly owned subsidiary of Chris-Craft.
The Chris-Craft is in pretty good shape - a bit dirty - but usable.
When I get my film developed I'll post pictures (yes, I still use a film camera).

Here she is on Lake Minnetonka, MN on Friday 14 August.
Yesterday I removed the seats, the vinyl covered interior side panels and got the floor ready for paint. I think I'll replace the wood grain vinyl covered side panels with stained and varnished meranti plywood. I'll match the colour as closely as possible.
