I am trying to post a photo and have tried to follow the instructions in the FAQ section, but can't seem to make it work. Is this a computer bozo issue or a Mac issue? I am a computer bozo using a Mac, so it could be both!

JSC - I didn't read the FAQ, but I do have experience with another forum using this software.
You first need to upload your image to a file sharing website. I use
http://imageshack.us/, its free.
Then, paste the file sharing “direct link to image" to your forum message. Highlight the link, and click the "Img" button on top of the message pane to insert the image.
I learned how to do this from a thread at the discussion forum for the
BBQ Bible website. Good luck and let me know if it works. I might have missed something in my instructions.

JSC - I did a test following my directions and it worked for me.

Hey Jim - thanks for the help. I think I've got it working.
My boat is a '57 18' Offshore - that's the northern end of Lk Washington it is floating on.

I appreciate your help.
Are you making those license plates up? How do you get that image right in your text?
Let me know when you get tired of the technology tutorial.

Jeff,
I'm not getting tired of the tutorial. I think this forum can be made more interesting and fun if users can post pictures and links.
A couple things on your image:
- 1) You should resize it to fit a webpage. The Windows Picture Editor application has a setting to do this. MS probably acquired that feature from Apple so your Mac can probably do this. I think the Image Shack website also has this feature.
2) To display the image in this forum, hightlight your image link, then press the"Img" button above the text entry window. This is why I had you resize the image. Otherwise it will run off the browser page.
I'll start another thread on license plates with instructions on how to add them to your signature.
Oh yeah, good looking boat. What size is that outboard?
