I've always named my boats in a way that was relative to my family. When my wife and I were in our 20's I had a big tub of a Corson with a 150hp Mariner on it I named Sweet Cheeks for her. The Mach I I currently own is named EIGHT BELLES. The Cruiser's Inc will most likely be the Linnikali for my wife and two daughters. If I ever see the day that I own a showpiece 22 or 24 ft Chris Craft Sportsman, it will be Miss Gertrude for my Mom. I think the only boat I'd have trouble naming would be a pontoon boat. They just don't seem to have enough personality to bother.
