Cooped up

Post by kaowb »

This little cutie was found in a chicken coop with no hardware or history. She is 13'4 long with a 62 1/2 beam, the HIN was found inside of the transom in the lower "Port" corner, the ID plate is missing. The numbers found are- C63415. Any info on her would be great.

Sweet little boat.

The seat backs are typical of those made at the Cortland, NY operation of Thompson The HULL ID would indicate a boat made in the year 1953. The "C" indicates Cortland and the first digit "6" indicates that this was the 7th year of this particular model being in production. This was the 415th boat made in the year 1953. She'd be a SEA SKIFF model.

She had a steering wheel mounted on the starboard side of the seat back rest at one time.
