What do I have?

Post by Jeffery Kincaid »

Greetings,

I am a new wood boat owner and have some questions about the boat I just bougt. You can see pictures of it at;

http://www.photoshow.net/watch/Ch7tB2Se I apologize for the lame Road Runner ad that goes with it but it was fast and easy.

It is 13’ 6” long and 5’ wide.

It has no plate with any ID info

I am told it is a 64 Cruiser.

I have the windshield, but it’s badly beat up.

What color was it originally? Was the part between the aluminum trim piece and the top stained and the lower part traditional Cruiser white?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Nice pictures and nice boat. She's NOT from 1964. She's a HOLIDAY model by Cruisers, Inc. probably pre-1958.

Hull ID, hull ID, hull ID....is needed to verify the year. This is stamped into the wood of the transom inside the boat. sometimes stamped upside down. Sometimes covered by some by some component.

Andreas,

You were right, the hull number was stamped upside down in transom with the varnish all worn off and a real bear to find. But I did find it and it looks like this:

C
7 4546

I didn't see anyting else. Hope this helps

Thanks,

Jeff

she's a 1957 Cruisers, Inc. HOLIDAY model 150, 14 footer. Watch your email.
