A few pics from August 8th.
3 cheteks in a row. Mine in the cuddy in the background.
One of a kind Chetek built as a racer
John Baas' 1959 Duchess. Like the little kicker.
Nice little Thompson:
Another really nice little Chetek
Sea King built by Chetek:
I have not had a chance to see many Chetek boats before. Of those I have, this is the only "Chetek" steering wheel like this I have seen. I don't know if it was a limited run, or a special order option. Yea, the dash has a crack. Been that way for 40 years. It's on the "to do" list.

More Chetek
I can't believe I just now (12-24-10) found this thread! NIce photos, Neil. After boat production ended, Chetek made toboggans and dog sleds. Someone brought a toboggan to the show...
My wife, Pam listens while Lornen Horton, former Chetek employee holds court. Loren built the windshield on our boat...
Neil, your Empress was surely the star of the show. Even the Mix sisters, daughters of the Chetek co-owner, Emil Mix hadn't ever seen one...
The next day, we traveled east to Oconto County and Maiden Lake for a diner cruise...
Merry Christmas everyone! Think spring!
