Local guy has another thompson just like my boat. He started the resto and has to get rid of the boat. My boat will need garboard planks, and a few laps replaced. His boat has the pieces my boat lacks..
False economy getting this boat to use the pieces? I am pretty sure I can pick the boat up for basically free. He is also going to give me stock he milled for rib replacement etc..
Is this crazy talk? I have no clue what to do with the rest of the boat. I have a feeling it will end up at the dump regardless. I am having mental conflict about this whole situation.

BTW; If someone somewhat local has a trailer and wants the boat to do a full restoration I will consider passing it along.
