I just picked up another one! She's a 1961 Cortland Thompson Sea Coaster 16 footer. As you can see, she's in rough shape. But she is restorable!
The deck and covering boards are missing along with toe rails on the deck and bow light block. All the hardware is missing too.
So, I hope anyone that has a late 1950s or early 1960s Cortland boat will be so kind as to contact me. I'd like to see pictures of the deck and hardware, etc... so that I know how to rebuild this guy.
The Cortland boats are very different than the Peshtigo boats, especially after the split in 1959. I have never seen a Cortland boat from this period before obtaining this one in NY.
