1961 Royal Vacationer

Post by jimmylapstrake »

I am giddy.......Just got our new old 1961 Cruisers Inc Royal Vacationer. We will be painting her up for the season and then line up some projects for the winter. Not sure on my intentions with the Johnson Golden Meteor (I am a Merc Man) but what ever the case I will keep the boat operational.
The boat (yet to be named) will be used in a local home coming parade at the end of July for my sons day care center.

I am very amazed the amount of room in this old gal. I am excited! Can you tell!?!?!?!?!? Life is good when you are a boat geek.

Welcome aboard and congrats on the addition to the family!

What's her hull ID stamped into the wood of the transom, inside the boat? I am keeping a database.

she has had her transom replaced at one time. Once I spend more time in her bilges maybe it will turn up. I will report back.
Thx!!
