Found a rear seat that plugged right in. had to re-varnish and raise up a little but it really adds to the comfort of this boat. I am planning new cushions and helm seat soon.
Will have some new shots soon, launching this weekend for our annual splash day.

I have finally gotten around to some of the upgrades I had planned.
I had new canvas, actually marine fabric, top and side curtains made even the clear piece for the side of the windshield.
I made a new piece for splash well and have gotten it back together. Still have two trim sealing pieces to made and install.
I came across a wonderful rear seat that just needed some stain and varnish to make it right. What a nice addition, works as step to get in and out of this deep hull.
I bought two new seats and swivels, this is going to make this such a comfortable cruise! had to add wooden bases and lower seat supports 3" t accommodate new thickness.
She is about ready to launch this weekend, got carbs working correct again and she runs about 28-29. Come see her at the EMCBC show June 7th!!

To update some current photos from last year.
"Big Fish" performed wonderfully, with new built in fuel tank and engine problems worked out she ran out at about 28mph. Not bad for a big old boat.
I have a few new updates in the works as soon as I launch her this year, its kind of late for me but I have had other boats in the fire so to speak.
A kingplank for the bow and a paint stipe are planned asap.
I am hoping also to do a couple river trips this year with her.
This makes me get excited about launching and using her again!

Now that I have my shop back. I rolled the 570 in for a new paint stripe, actually the top lap painted to give her some style!!!
I sanded the easypoxy sandtone paint with a 220 grit and taped the top lap off and drapped the sides with surgical drapes. I used an interlux Seagreen it took two coats to get a solid cover.
And finally enjoying eagle mountain lake on an early Sunday Morning.
Looks to be a great summer....

I attended the SW ACBS show on Lake LBJ this fall and am finally getting around to posting some Pics.
We got rained out Saturday but did get some lake time in Sunday am with a trip up the lake for coffee and dough nuts at a Jim Frecette's lake house. The thunderstorms chased us off the lake , you can see them on the horizon, but allowed us to get trailered just before the skies opened up again. The top and side curtains really worked great, is a comfortable dry ride. The show was at the Horseshoe Bay Yacht club in Marble Falls, TX.
