I am getting ready to install the bilge pump in my sea lancer and I am trying to decide where to install the thru hull. I can't decide wether to install it in the transum or the side. I am having some trouble finding a thru hull that would work with the thickness of the transum. What kind of thrull have others used and where. Thanks!

My vote is to go thru the hullside planking.
Another option is to run it into the splash well and just let it drain via the holes already in the transom.

Thanks for the input, I am leaning toward the side planking.

Side plank...and on the same side as your helm ( starboard) so that you can look back over you shoulder and see if you are pumping any water
