As president of the Eagle Mountain Classic Boat Club I want to invite you to our 20th Annual in the Water Boat Show on Eagle Mountain Lake in Fort Worth, Texas. It will be held June 7th at Eagle Mountain Marina, we in the past have had 25+ boats show up.
I know of at least 7+ spectacular Cruisers Inc.s and Thompsons that will be there and more expected. I will have both my 16' and 20" Cruisers there.
We have a kick off dinner the night before and hold an all day show with a parade at the end. There are always many large cruisers from the 40s and 50s. Voting is done by the public for multiple catagories with trophies given out at end of show.
E-mail me for entry forms.
I will try and post some photos from show.
Join us if you can!!!

Our local sailboat club had a car/bike/boat show last weekend, a great excuse to get the hulls wet and meet some new people. I took my 16' 202 and my 20' 570, Andy brought his 23' Thompson with new yellow hull and his 19' Offshore Thompson. Was in the 80s and a light breeze, what a great day for the show. My new candy striped top drew lots of praise.
The wind has never stopped this year and the day of the show was no exception. Even though we had 21 boats show up and temps in the 90s. A very nice Helton outboard came from Houston and Andy and I both brought a couple lapstakes. Dennis brought his nice Lyman ouboard and a Lyman Islander that he is restoring. Several beautiful Chris Crafts were in attendance as well as a couple of CC cruisers. Our club has three beautiful Chris Craft Sedans but none could make it this year.
The high winds and waves even killed our usual boat parade. But still a great time was had by all.
1964 Helton
1959 Thompson Offshore
Lyman Islander under restoration
1965 Cruisers Inc. 570 Seacamper
Lyman
1963 Cruisers Inc. 202 Seafarer
1940 Chris Craft Runabout Best of Show
1937 Chris Craft utility
1957 Chris Craft
The flotilla
1963 Thompson
Messin around in boats
Some members home built craft
1970 Chris Craft X-19
A good crowd showed up to check out all this mahogany and chrome, voted for their favorites and trophies were awarded. Everyone seemed to enjoy the beautiful day.

what is it
dan could you please tell me what the boat is that has a 110 evinrude on the back of it. Home made ???. Thanks Jim Hays
more question about photos
Dan, the 37 CC utility is what I call a hardtop boat have you ever seen one as a outboard in this style. From what I see I blieve the top is covered with vinal is this correct. This is a question I have wanted to ask all you guys. Has ANYONE ever seen a tompson with a hardtop?? How about it Andreas did Thompson ever make one? As a young boy in the early 1940 my father was going to buy a wooden boat I dont remember the brand I was 7 or 8 at the time anyway I do remember it being a outboard with lap sides and a hardtop about 16 to 18 ft long and have kept a mental picture of it and have over the years looked for something like it. I hve enjoyed the redo on my seacoaster and all the help from you fellas, I will try and get pic posted when we get back from our trip for some reason I just havent figured out how to post my brain just misses something in the process again thanks all. Jim Hays
I bought this boat back from the older gent who had bought her from me last year and used her once. I pick her up tomorrow! She has been covered since.
Can't wait to get back on the water with this little boat. There is just something about a smaller boat with 35 - 40 hp, you seem to feel the lake a little more than some of the larger boats I have had. She was one of my favorites, glad to get her back.
Will post some new shots soon.
