My 1957 Thomspon (Peshtigo) Sea Lancer has twin '57 Johnson 35 HP outboards. I just measured the transom and she is about 34 inches on the flat . There is plenty of room for these two motors.

I have never been clocked. I suppose it's about 30 mph.
