Anyone have an aftermarket tilt/trim on their boat?
I have a 69' 85hp Johnson with cable/pulley steering. I'm wondering if the 4"-6"set back on these will screw up my steering configuration.
I would say yes. You could go to push/pull cable and be okay. I would look for a 1969 power lift, power trim would be nice but was not available in 1969. I purchased a NOS power lift for my 1960 75 Evinrude about 2 years ago. Try NorthShore Marine @ 713 453 6341 Houston, ask for Margret.
