Welcome, and chill out.

More than just the hull ID is necessary to identify the boat.

Who made the boat and at what location?
Is it a wooden boat, fiberglass boat, rubber boat?
If wooden, is it plywood lapstrake, cedar strip, carvel planked?
What is on the metal ID tag, completely and exactly?
Is there a serial number? If yes, what is it?
Is there a metal Outboard Boating Club (OBC) tag? If yes, what are the listed ratings for HP and weight?
What is the centerline length of the boat?
What is the gunwale length of the boat?
What is the maximum width of the boat?
What is the width of the transom?

There are no wiring diagrams available for these old boats. Go to the local library and find some books on marine wiring. That's what I did, along with getting advice from an electrician friend.
