While at the repair shop for out boat, I saw an awesome boat in the storage area. The only markings on it said Thompson and it had a badge on the side that read 'Lancer Express' on it. I did a search because I want to learn more about this oh so cool looking boat, but came up with nothing. Only two of my pictures came out. Anyone have any information on this model boat?
Thompson 'Lancer Express'?

She is the smallest of the cabin cruiser models made by Thompson Bros. Boat Mfg. Co. of Peshtigo, WI. She is built on the exact same hull as the Sea Lancer open boat.
The Lancer Express was first introduced in the 1962 model year. The larger Off Shore Cabin and Sea Lane cabin were part of the line up for several years prior to 1962.
You can buy Thompson Boat and spin-off company brochures on a CD-ROM from www.dragonflycanoe.com and www.wcha.org. They are great resources to figure out what the boats looked like new.
