Need bow ring

Post by txcaptdan »

I am looking for a bow eye for the front of my 1965 CI 570 Seacamper. The original was broken off at one point and I need another--any help??

It looks like the lifting ring on front deck

West Marine and Boat US will have 'em - but most likely NOT the original type. Watch ebay auctions, go to marine dealers and ask for the service guys in the shop and see if they'll let ya dig thru boxes of old junk, steal one from a different boat (I didn't say that did I?), go to swap meets of the Antique Outboard Motor Club (www.aomci.org) and Antique & Classic Boat Society activities (www.acbs.org) and classic snowmobile groups, look for boat junk yards, etc...

What's a CI 570?

Andreas - Cruisers, Inc. 570 is a 20' Seacamper -Duh- I am aware of all those sources - been there done that. I crawled around local old boat dealer yesterday, found some cool stuff but not what I was seeking. Was hoping one of us might one laying around the excess parts bin, I know I have one!

I got this off of a 62 Cruisers commander 18 ft. Is this what you need?

CI is Cruisers, Inc.

I guess I have never heard of "Cruisers, Inc." called "CI." That's what confused me.

Good luck in your search.
