Volvo is Swedish - not German.
Swedish like Norwegian and Danish is a Germanic based language.
Thompson Bros. Boat Mfg. Co. started putting inboard outboard drives in their boats in 1959 for the 1960 model year.
Andreas Jordahl Rhude (Ruudsberghaugen) - a 100% Norwegian
