Help with Model Year

I inherited a Sea Coaster from my Godfather. I am fairly certain I know what year it was made, but have had 2 knowledgable people give me 2 plausible reasons why it is one year over another.

Wondering if anyone else has a similar Hull number sequence and knows their year to help me confirm. The Hull ID is C 63500 X. There is no serial number that I can find. It was made in Cortland and I believe is a 1953 Sea Coaster, but am not 100% certain.

The center line length is 15'-2". The width (at the seats) is roughly 62 or 63".
