The twins are onboard.

Spent some time yesterday and got the twins on the bot and all hooked up.
As always "please pardon the dust as we are under construction"

Great looking color match. Not much room on the transom for the junction boxes. Does one motor have a generator? Thanks for showing the twins.

The starboard Motor has a generator Jall. The box on that side is bigger but you can't see it in the pics.
If you think it is a tight fit now picture this.
Two gas tanks and a battery all tucked into that splash well too.
Gas Tanks are going to go inside the boat towards the transom. Battery box will stay in the splash well.

I am working on getting the dual starter/choke buttons mounted in the dash.
Pics show what it looked like when I got it. We can't have that. Most likely I will fab up
a stainless face plate that looks like the second pic. It will cover all the exsisting holes.

I lucked out and found a factory original dual start/choke plate when I was having the twins installed on my Sea Lancer:

I have been looking Andreas but so far no luck. I think I will take one of the two plates that I have an see about cutting holes for the 2nd set of buttons.
I will let you know how it goes.

torchie, if you haven't already ... try posting a "wanted" ad on the AOMCI site "webvertize" page. Those plates are rare but they are out there, I saw one a year or so back at an outboard swap meet

Good tip Joe.
That site is where I came up with the Javelin hoods.
I made contact with a guy who had a bunch of them.
He most likely has some dash plates as well. Once we get a little farther away from summer I will give him a call.
Up until seeing the pics of Andreas's I wasn't sure that they exsisted....

Thanks for the compliments guys.
Offshore, these are on the back of a 55 Offshore. Probably not all that different than the 57.

Andreas . I am beginning to think that you've got the only twin engine dash plate in captivity. All my sources say that all the twin setup's they have seen use to single plates.

Joe. I posted on AOMCI site so we will see what happens. Still hoping to splash the boat this fall.

Andreas, Don't start counting your profits just too soon. In this limited hobby, there are probably 3-4 persons who would even know the difference and appreciate it!

Well as of Monday I will have the 2nd rarest Twin engine dash plate in exsistence. Right behind Andreas. :D :D :D :D
Thanks to Joe B (for the reminder) I was able to get one via the AOMCI site. Same place I found my Javelin hoods.
Once it is installed I will post some pics.
