Hey All,
I discovered yesterday that the forward switch in my control box for my 1958 Mercury Mark 75 is bad. I have been searching all day for a replacement without any success. If anyone knows of a good source for old Mercury parts I would be very appreciative.

Re: Looking for Info on Model & Year for a Friend
The hull construction is plywood lapstrake. Unfortunately I could not find a mfg tag, the previous owner had started to restore it and there wasn't anything in the boxes that he had. Here is a link to a few photos I took that hopefully will help with the identification. http://s967.photobucket.com/u...

Looking for Info on Model & Year for a Friend
My friend recently acquired what I believe is a Thompson and I am hoping to get some information as to the year and the model. All I know at this point is that it is 13' 2" in length and the beam is 65". The hull id is 7C4720. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! If more information i...

Re: 1959 Holiday 250 Restoration Complete
The way it was designed is in a manner that when you lift the tongue you can then flip the wheel up in the opposite direction for travel purposes vs. a crank like you commonly see. To move it using the wheel it works great in one direction however to move it in the opposite direction many times the ...

Re: 1959 Holiday 250 Restoration Complete
Thanks Guys!
Verne, the tongue wheel is actually original, I got luck it was on there. It is however a death trap, not sure what they were thinking when they came up with the design. Now I need to get working on restoring the trailer.

Re: 1959 Holiday 250 Restoration Complete
Now that the weather is getting warmer and the ice is breaking up I am chomping at the bit to get my Holiday in the water. I am working on getting her registered and am looking for advice for an appropriate font for the registration number for a 1959. Any recommendations would greatly be appreciated!

1959 Holiday 250 Restoration Complete
Hi All, I wanted to share some photos of my restoration project of my 1959 Holiday 250. There are still a few items to be complete (1958 Mercury Mark 75 Inline 6, bezel for speedometer, & rubrail end caps). I cannot wait until the spring to get her in the water. This was my first and possibly la...

Re: Rub Rail Installation
Another rubrail question...
I have purchased Wefco's 16G-1 rubrail along with the 1579 insert. What I am curious about is if anyone has any suggestions on how to finish off the exposed ends at the stern?
I greatly appreaciate any responses!

I looked into getting all of my bright work re-chromed from a company called Nu Chrome. To have everything redone would have been $2500. Needless to say some elbow grease went a LONG way!

Metal Bow Protector
Hey Gang,
Trying to find somewhere to get new metal trim to attach to the bow. The parts I pulled off are broken and very bent up in the area where it hooked up to the trailer. Has anyone found a source to replace these?
