Sorry about that Andreas. I had seen others before and thought it was ok. Lesson learned! I just thought it would be nice to get the word out there to preserve these??
Thanks!

Replacing Old Keel Rollers with 1 3/8" Shaft Diameter
I have to replace a few of the old keel rollers on my trailer. They are 12" long, but have a shaft diameter of 1 3/8". Or I've been told they are old Pipe shafts? I can't seem to find any replacements. 5/8" shafts are all I can find on the new rollers. Any suggestions on where to find...

Steering Wheel needed 1967 Thompson Offshore
Well my steering wheel disintegrated on me today. Plastic just broke off at the center. Anyone know where I get my hands on one? Not sure how the steering wheel changed over the years or between boat models that year. Not looking for a perfect one, but would like a decent one to keep it original. I ...

Unfortunately decided to give up on the 100hp Johnson. Picked up a 1984 115hp Mercury inline 6. Have it on my 67' Thompson offshore and hope to have her in the water soon! Anyone know a good place to sell my 100hp Johnson? Had it on eBay a few times and no bites. Figure I need to find a site that is...

How would I know which one I have? What are the differences between the two? Would the 150 Hp fall into both types? I will try to post a picture of my boat so you can see my type. It has a big flare in the front, but is pretty flat at the transom. I didn't see that there were two types in my catalog...

150hp Mercury OB - 1994- Too big for boat?
I have a 1967 Thompson Offshore camper that is 21 ft long. It originally had a 1968 100 Hp johnson on it. I have a chance to pick up a nice 1994 150hp Mercury OB. - Is it Too big for my boat? My manual for the boat said it could handle up to a 180hp OB.
Thanks
Chris

Thanks everyone for your suggestions!! I plan on trying them out this weekend. John - Question on my High Speed Orifice. If I was running at full throttle and sprayed fuel into the carbs wouldn't I get a noticable change in the engine?? I did that and I only experienced a slight decrease in RPM's. W...

Which Prop should I be using or is it the Carburetor??
First you should all be happy to hear that I finally got my 1968 100hp Johnson running and on top of that to actually stay running!!! Ok that is the good part. It idles great, but when I give it power it just lumbers along at about 1/3rd the speed. I would think that she should have more power. She ...
