What is it
Looked at what the current owner says is a 1958 Cruisers 17'. It looks newer to me, any thoughts? I did not have a chance to measure it.

Did a little looking at the boat this weekend. Had a chance to take a few more measurements. Gunwal length-18'5" LOA-17' Beam-80" Transom-67" Weight is listed at 1204lbs and horse power is 110. The stamped number looks like 969720.
Im thinking its a 1959 Commander 300.

Looked at the number stamped into the transom again. Its hard to tell if there is a dash or if its just a fleck in the wood. Ill take a look at the OBC plate again and report back. I'll also see if I can get the boat flipped over and get some pictures.

Don't know about the front deck, the previous owner took the boat apart 30 years ago and it been sitting upside down in his garage since then. He talked about the front and side deck covered in vinyl, just don't know if that was original.

Picked up my first Cruisers inc. boat this weekend and trying to figure out what year and model it is. Previous owner said it was a 1961 18' boat, however he had no idea what model it is even though he has owned it since 1973. Number on the transom is 9-69720. I measure the transom at 67.5 inches, t...
