I have a '50s Cruisers, model Mariner 100, which I am renovating and need to know the format of the original HIN (Hull ID Number). Why is it that there doesn't seem to be one format for which side the steering wheel is located on small craft? In north america all cars have the wheel on the left. In the UK Japan Australia etc, all are on the right.
