I received a reply from Simmons.. "Your boat is not even close to a Simmons. Possibly a Thompson or Lyman". I am waiting for a response from MFG.

Well we know it is not a Thompson.

So, slowly eliminating builders.

Hey Karl, The ribs are actually made out of some molded rubbery substance. Also the same over the bottom portion of ribs. Can anyone confirm .. this motor cover is from 1964. It seems to be the only one with similar markings..all black 5 star emblem.
